In order to enjoy these prime locations, U.S. personnel are required to obtain a German fishing license. Family and MWR offers this course to our community in English for your convenience and ease of obtaining the required certification. At the completion of this course, many fishing opportunities will be available to you and your families, ranging from local Family and MWR lakes and streams to overnight excursions. Lastly, in this very condensed course, you can expect to learn about German fishing laws, hydrology, equipment & gear, general ichthyology, specialized ichthyology, diseases and much more from our experienced staff of employees and volunteers! Classes held Friday, Saturday and Sunday (exact times provided upon registration) $65 per person. Family discounts are available for the course. Registrations will be accepted through the Thursday before the start of each class.With 10 lakes and two streams to choose from, Family and MWR offers some of the most beautiful and relaxing fishing bodies of water in Bavaria.
